Artist Information

Scott Mental was born and raised in Chagrin Falls, OH, a small village outside of Cleveland. He attended Northern Michigan University and earned a B.F.A. in Sculpture. He stayed in Marquette and earned a MIS degree in Local and County Governmental Administration/Higher Education Administration. He earned his Masters of Fine Arts in Sculpture from The University of South Carolina in 2012. He then earned a MA in Art Ed. from Case Western Reserve University in 2015. Scott is currently a High School art teacher at the 11th largest high school in Ohio, Lakota West High School.
